Thunderstorm downs tree limbs on Darling Hill Road in Burke

A strong thunderstorm brought down several tree limbs in Burke on Thursday evening, with damage concentrated on Darling Hill Road. Resident Tim Simpson photographed the downed limbs after the storm passed through around 6 p.m.

Power outages also affected parts of central Vermont, particularly in Waterbury and Middlesex, with scattered outages reported elsewhere. No injuries or structural damage were immediately reported.
