A hole roughly three feet deep was discovered on Bunker Hill Road in Hardwick on the evening of June 10, after a Flash Flood Warning was issued for the area. Cones have been placed to mark the road closure.

The NBC5 First Warning Weather crew reported seeing the hole while traveling through Hardwick and Wolcott, where viewers had reported washed-out and impassable roads. It was not immediately clear what caused the hole.

The Flash Flood Warning for northern Vermont was set to expire at midnight Thursday.
