Lyndonville police cited Mark Lovejoy, 47, of Barton to appear in Caledonia Superior Court on June 15 for an alleged sex offender registry violation, second or subsequent offense, following an investigation that began in May.

Vanessa Clough, 39, of Coventry was arrested June 10 in Barton on suspicion of domestic assault and violating conditions of release. She was cited to appear in Orleans Superior Court on June 11.

Jeffery Emerson, 35, a transient, was arrested June 9 on Route 302 in Newbury after troopers pursued him on foot and quickly apprehended him. He faces charges of three in-state warrants, resisting arrest, and criminal threatening. He is accused of threatening someone at the scene. Emerson was held on $15,000 bail at Northeast Correctional Complex in St. Johnsbury and was due in Orange Superior Court in Chelsea on June 9.
