Vermont State Police arrested a 22-year-old East Boston woman on suspicion of DUI on July 21 after finding her walking on the median of Interstate 91 in Newbury.
Troopers from the St. Johnsbury barracks responded around 9:23 p.m. to a disabled vehicle near mile marker 106 on the northbound side of I-91. They located Gabriela Cabrera walking along the median. During the encounter, troopers observed indicators of impairment and determined she had been operating her vehicle while under the influence, police said.
Cabrera was taken to the St. Johnsbury barracks for processing. She was later issued a citation to appear in Orange County Superior Court, Criminal Division on August 5 at 8:30 a.m., and was released.
