Thetford man arrested on DUI charge in Fairlee

Vermont State Police arrested a Thetford man on suspicion of driving under the influence after a traffic stop on Interstate 91 in Fairlee on the morning of July 26.

Trooper James LeBlanc of the St. Johnsbury Barracks was on routine patrol in Fairlee when he observed a vehicle commit multiple motor vehicle violations, police said. A traffic stop was conducted, and the driver showed signs of impairment.

The driver, Andrew Lull, 40, of Thetford, was arrested on suspicion of DUI. He was transported to the Bradford Outpost for processing, then issued a citation to appear in Orange County Superior Court Criminal Division on August 12 at 8:30 a.m. He was released.
