The Vermont State Police have arrested a Sutton man on charges of aggravated sexual assault of a child and lewd and lascivious conduct. Jordan Kidder, 37, surrendered to police on June 10 after a warrant was issued for his arrest.
The investigation began on May 19, 2026, when state police and the Vermont Department for Children and Families received a report of suspected sexual abuse of a child. The warrant for Kidder’s arrest was issued on June 8. He was arraigned in Caledonia Criminal Court and ordered held without bail at the Northeast Regional Correctional Facility.
Police have not released the identity of the victim or additional details about the alleged offenses. The investigation remains ongoing.
