A Sutton man faces aggravated disorderly conduct and unlawful trespass charges after an incident July 23 at a Portland Street address in St. Johnsbury, Vermont State Police said.

Troopers were called to 1193 Portland Street around 10:17 a.m. for a citizen dispute. On arrival, they found Kristopher Anctil, 41, who was allegedly screaming at the property owner and refusing to leave, police said.

Anctil was arrested and taken to the St. Johnsbury barracks for processing. He was later issued a citation to appear in Caledonia County Superior Court, Criminal Division on August 24, 2026, at 8:30 a.m.

The victim was identified as Brett Trahan, 36, of Danville. No bail was set, and Anctil was not lodged.
