Sutton man charged after Portland Street dispute

Vermont State Police arrested a Sutton man on July 23 following a dispute on Portland Street in St. Johnsbury.

Troopers were called to 1193 Portland Street at approximately 10:17 p.m. for a citizen dispute. When they arrived, they found Kristopher Anctil, 41, of Sutton, who police said was screaming at the property owner and refusing to leave the premises. Anctil was taken into custody and transported to the St. Johnsbury barracks for processing.

He was charged with aggravated disorderly conduct and unlawful trespass. He was issued a citation to appear at Caledonia County Superior Court’s Criminal Division on August 24 at 8:30 a.m.
