On June 17, Vermont State Police responded to a report of an altercation on Hutchins Farm Road in Stannard. An investigation determined that Malik Newman-Shadley, 21, of Stannard, caused pain to a family or household member. Newman-Shadley was located the following day, June 18, and taken into custody. He was processed at the St. Johnsbury barracks and released on a citation. He is scheduled to appear in Caledonia County Superior Court on June 22 at 12:30 PM.
