Vermont State Police arrested a Woodbury man on an active warrant June 18 in Stannard.

Troopers responding to an unrelated incident encountered Travis Daigle, 26, and found he had an outstanding in-state warrant. He was taken into custody and issued a citation to appear in Caledonia County court on June 22 at 12:30 p.m. on charges of retail theft and criminal driving with a suspended license.

Daigle was lodged at the Northeast Correctional Complex in St. Johnsbury after failing to post $200 bail.

NEK will be looking into the court outcome of the June 22 hearing.
