A Lyndonville man wanted on an outstanding warrant was arrested after a short chase on Broad Street on the evening of June 17.
Lyndonville Police Department officers found Joseph Greenwood, 45, near Broad Street at about 9:20 p.m. and attempted to take him into custody. Greenwood fled on foot but was caught after a brief pursuit, police said.
He was transported to Northeast Regional Correctional Center in St. Johnsbury and held on $100 bail, according to police. The Vermont State Police assisted at the scene.
