East Burke man charged with DUI after Lyndonville stop

Lyndonville police arrested a 44-year-old East Burke man early Friday morning on a charge of driving under the influence. Officer Robert Trucott stopped a vehicle on Route 114 around 1:10 a.m. on June 19 after observing a traffic violation, according to the Lyndonville Police Department.

The driver, John Aubrecht, was found to have been operating under the influence of alcohol, police said. He was taken into custody, processed, and later released on a citation to appear in Caledonia County Criminal Court on July 6 at 8:30 a.m. to answer the charge of DUI - Refusal.
