Lyndonville police arrest Barton man on DUI, suspended license charges

A Barton man was arrested early on May 29 in Lyndonville on charges of driving under the influence and criminal driving with a suspended license.

Tanner Grandfield, 34, was stopped on East Street at approximately 12:09 a.m. after a Lyndonville police officer observed a motor vehicle violation. An investigation determined Grandfield had been operating his vehicle while under the influence of alcohol, police said.

Grandfield was taken into custody and later released on a citation. He is scheduled to appear in Caledonia County Criminal Court on June 15 at 8:30 a.m.

The Vermont State Police assisted the Lyndonville Police Department in the case.
