Littleton man arrested for DUI in Barnet

Vermont State Police arrested a Littleton, New Hampshire, man on suspicion of driving under the influence after a traffic stop in Barnet early on June 20.

Trooper Matthew Salazar stopped a vehicle operated by Raymond Fregeau, 31, around 1:25 a.m. after observing a motor vehicle violation, police said. During the stop, troopers detected signs of impairment and arrested Fregeau. He was taken to the St. Johnsbury barracks for processing.

Fregeau was issued a citation to appear in Caledonia County Superior Court on July 6 at 8:30 a.m. He was released without bail.
