Vermont State Police arrested Jonathan Plante, 28, of Morrisville, on June 20 after he allegedly trespassed on a property in Kirby and caused damage. Plante is charged with unlawful trespass, unlawful mischief, criminal threatening, disorderly conduct by electronic communication, violation of conditions of release, and stalking.
Troopers responded to a trespassing call around 3:02 a.m. on June 20 on Mud Hollow Road in Kirby. The victims, Teanna Liberty, 25, and Aerick Lapierre, 43, both of Kirby, said Plante arrived at their residence and damaged property. A brief encounter occurred before Plante fled the scene, according to police.
Plante turned himself in at the St. Johnsbury barracks on June 26 and was processed. He was ordered held without bail at the Northeast Correctional Complex pending a court appearance on June 29 in Caledonia County.
