Lyndonville Police Department arrested a Burke woman on a warrant the morning of June 23, 2026, at a residence on U.S. Route 5. Terri S. Maloney-Grant, 53, was taken into custody without incident on a warrant issued by Orleans Superior Court in July 2025.

The warrant stems from four charges: one count of vulnerable adult financial exploitation under $500, and three counts of false pretenses or false tokens $900 or less. The original investigation was conducted by Vermont State Police in Derby. Bail was set at $1,000.

Maloney-Grant was transported to the Lyndonville Police Department and later appeared in court in St. Johnsbury.

NEK will be looking into the timeline between the warrant issuance and the arrest, as well as details of the original investigation.
