Vermont State Police arrested David Goodwin, 22, of Ryegate, on July 26 following an investigation into a domestic disturbance on Church Street the previous evening.
Police responded to the residence around 8:11 p.m. on July 25. The investigation determined that Goodwin caused injuries to a household member, damaged property, and violated conditions of release previously imposed by a court.
Goodwin was taken into custody on July 26 and lodged at the Northeast Correctional Complex in St. Johnsbury. Bail was set at $10,000. He is scheduled to appear in Caledonia County Superior Court, Criminal Division on July 27 at 12:30 p.m.
