Joshua House, a nonprofit working to prevent homelessness in the Northeast Kingdom, is organizing a scavenger hunt fundraiser running from May 1 to May 15.

The event, called “Picture It!, For Joshua House!”, asks teams to take real-time photos of the front of every business in Orleans, Essex, and Caledonia counties. Teams earn one point per business photo and five points for a sponsoring business. The top three teams win $500, $250, and $100 respectively.

Registration opens April 15 and costs $10 per person. Complete rules will be posted at joshuahousenek.com and at various locations starting March 31. Team captains submit photos to Joshua House for posting on Facebook and the website.

Organizers are seeking business sponsors to enhance the game. Contact Tim Daley at [email protected] for sponsorship details.
