Vermont State Police are investigating the theft of catalytic converters from St. J Subaru on Memorial Drive in St. Johnsbury.

Police received a report on the morning of June 8. Investigation indicates that an unknown male and an accomplice entered the property and removed several catalytic converters from vehicles around 5:15 a.m. the same day.

Surveillance footage captured images of one suspect and the vehicle he was operating. Those images have been released by police.

Anyone with information about the incident or the suspect's identity is asked to contact Trooper David Hastings at the Vermont State Police St. Johnsbury Barracks at 802-748-3111.

NEK will be looking into whether similar catalytic converter thefts have been reported at other area auto dealerships.
