Vermont State Police arrested Vanessa Clough, 39, of Coventry on June 10 on charges of domestic assault and violation of conditions of release. The arrest followed a report of an assault at a residence on Kinsey Road in Barton around 7:59 p.m.
Investigators determined that Clough caused pain to a household or family member. Police also learned that Clough had active conditions of release from a previous court order that prohibited contact with that individual.
Clough was taken to the Derby barracks for processing and later released with a citation to appear in Orleans County Superior Court on June 11 at 12:30 p.m. A mugshot was taken.
