This is a developing story. Details are preliminary and subject to change as more information becomes available.

NEK previously reported that a rescuer fell and sustained head injuries at the Falling Waters Trailhead in Lincoln. New details have since emerged. At approximately 7:31 AM, additional emergency personnel were dispatched to the Falling Waters Trailhead. A hypothermic treatment station was requested and is expected to be set up about 30 minutes from the trailhead. Crews from multiple agencies are responding to support the ongoing rescue operation. Further details on the condition of the injured rescuer and the number of personnel involved have not yet been released.
