At approximately 12:31 PM on Friday, June 19, 2026, emergency crews were dispatched to 2012 Main Street in Bethlehem, New Hampshire, for a report of a 68-year-old male trapped under a vehicle. Early reports indicate the man was working on the vehicle when it fell on top of him, pinning him from his lower torso to his waist. Responders from the Bethlehem Fire Department and Bethlehem Ambulance arrived on scene and found the patient unresponsive. Littleton paramedics were requested for mutual aid.
By 12:44 PM, crews were on scene working to extricate the patient, and CPR was in progress. A landing zone was being established near the pink house on Main Street for a possible medical evacuation to Littleton Hospital. Additional units from Littleton Fire and Ambulance responded, and by 12:48 PM, they were on scene assisting. An airlift request was being considered as the patient remained in critical condition. At 2:09 PM, dispatchers were coordinating with Woodsville Ambulance to gather further information regarding the incident. At 2:18 PM, Bethlehem K2 arrived on scene and reported they were off with the incident.
At 2:55 PM, Bethlehem Fire reported all units had returned to quarters and the scene was cleared. The status of the patient was not immediately available. Further details are pending.
