At approximately 5:33 PM, Bethlehem Fire Department was dispatched to 2533 Main Street for a residential smoke alarm activation. Initial reports indicate a smoke alarm was triggered at the location. Fire crews are responding to investigate the cause. No additional details are available at this time.
At 5:51 PM, Bethlehem Fire Department reported that the alarm was caused by a quality detector system malfunction. Crews reset the system and all units have returned to service. The incident is considered a false alarm.
