Rescuer Falls, Injured at Falling Waters Trailhead

This is a developing story. Details are preliminary and subject to change as more information becomes available.

At approximately 5:09 AM, emergency responders were dispatched to the Falling Waters Trailhead in Lincoln for a report of a rescuer who had fallen and sustained head injuries. Initial reports indicate that the rescuer was part of a search and rescue operation. Ambulance crews were requested to meet with search teams on scene. Later communications indicate rescue coordination continues, with references to operational positions. The extent of the injuries is not yet known. Further information will be released as it becomes available.
