This is a follow-up to NEK's earlier report (Medical Call on Chevron Lodge Road in Burke, July 9). New details below.
This is a developing story. Details are preliminary and subject to change as more information becomes available.
NEK previously reported that a person fled a gas station in St. Johnsbury after violating a restraining order, heading toward Corinth. New details have since emerged: the person is believed to be driving a white 2004 Ford F350 and actively evading police.
At approximately 1:57 PM, the vehicle was spotted on Wild Hill Road in the Fairlee area, according to dispatch communications. Officers believe the person is heading toward Fairlee or West Fairlee and may attempt to cross into New Hampshire. Police in New Hampshire have been notified and are monitoring border crossings.
At approximately 1:59 PM, dispatchers indicated that the subject had been identified by law enforcement who recognized them. The search continues, with multiple agencies involved.
