A single-vehicle crash on VT Route 113 in West Fairlee on June 16 resulted in no injuries but two citations for the operator. Vermont State Police responded to the scene at approximately 6:32 a.m. and found that the driver, Andrew Reese, 36, of Hartford, Vermont, had failed to maintain his lane, exited the east side of the road, and struck a tree.

Reese was driving a 2025 Chevrolet Trax, which sustained major front-end damage. He was wearing a seat belt. Troopers issued him Vermont Civil Violation Complaints for driving on roadways laned for traffic (23 VSA 1038) and no license (23 VSA 601).
