Vermont State Police cited a Corinth man for domestic assault following an incident on June 8 at about 9 p.m. on Taplin Hill Road in Topsham.
Troopers from the St. Johnsbury Barracks responded to a citizen dispute. Investigation revealed that Dakota Smith, 27, of Corinth, had assaulted a household member, according to police.
Smith was issued a citation to appear in Orange County Superior Court, Criminal Division, on August 11 at 8 a.m.
Trooper Kyle Gorman handled the case.
