A fight at the St. Johnsbury welcome center Thursday night resulted in two arrests, including a man accused of threatening a baby with a hammer.
The victim told police he was held down while Christopher Sargent and Heather Collins struck him in the head. Sargent later allegedly threatened the victim, his girlfriend, and their baby with a hammer.
During Collins' arrest, she kicked officers, police said. She was processed and released. Sargent was held without bail. Both are scheduled to appear in court Friday.
The incident remains under investigation and additional charges may be filed.
