Vermont State Police cited a St. Johnsbury man on June 30 for violating a restraining order. Troopers responded to a report that Joshua Stevens, 37, had come into contact with a person protected by the order. Stevens was taken into custody, processed, and issued a citation to appear in Caledonia County Superior Court on July 1 at 12:30 p.m. The victim's identity has not been released, in accordance with state police policy regarding victims of domestic violence.
