DUI arrest after crash into house on Breezy Hill Road

Vermont State Police arrested a Rutland City man on suspicion of driving under the influence after his pickup truck crashed into a house in St. Johnsbury on July 2.

Troopers responded to a report of a single-vehicle rollover crash into a home on Breezy Hill Road near Rocky Ridge Road at around 9:34 p.m. The driver, Michael Gould, 38, was identified at the scene. During the interaction, troopers detected signs of impairment and arrested Gould for DUI.

Gould was transported to the St. Johnsbury Barracks for processing and later released with a citation to appear in Caledonia County Superior Court on August 3 at 8:30 a.m. His 2021 Ram 1500 was totaled. No injuries were reported.
