Barre woman arrested on DUI drugs charge in St. Johnsbury

Vermont State Police arrested a Barre woman on charges of driving under the influence of drugs July 3 after responding to a report of an intoxicated person trying to drive on Emerson Falls Road in St. Johnsbury.

Troopers stopped the vehicle and identified the operator as Karey Magoon, 53. During the interaction, officers observed signs of impairment. Magoon was taken into custody and transported to the St. Johnsbury barracks for processing.

She was charged with DUI drugs and issued a citation to appear in Caledonia County Superior Court, Criminal Division on August 31, 2026 at 8:30 AM. No mug shot was released.
