St. Johnsbury police arrested a local man on an active instate warrant early on June 12. Sgt. Hartwell and another officer responded to a residence in St. Johnsbury at approximately 2:29 a.m. to locate Damian Marcy, 24, of St. Johnsbury, who was wanted on the warrant. Marcy was taken into custody without incident and transported to the police department for processing. After processing, he was issued a citation and transported to the Northeast Regional Correctional Complex.
Marcy is scheduled to appear in Essex County court on June 15. Bail was set at $10,000.
NEK News will be looking into the nature of the underlying warrant and prior court records for Marcy.
