St. Johnsbury Athenaeum launches weekly youth programs

The St. Johnsbury Athenaeum is offering a series of free weekly events for young children and their caregivers, running through the summer.

Playtime Mixer Mondays begin at 10:30 a.m. in the Children's Library, featuring 30 minutes of unstructured dance and play. The program is designed for children from birth to age 6 with a caregiver; siblings are welcome.

Lapsit Storytime is held Tuesdays at 10:30 a.m., offering a 20-minute lap program of stories, songs, and fingerplays for children from birth to age 2 with a caregiver.

Acorn Club Storytime meets Thursdays at 10:30 a.m. for 30 minutes of stories, songs, and play, with each child receiving a coloring sheet. It is open to children from birth to age 6 with a caregiver.

All events are free, ADA accessible, and open to the public. The Athenaeum is located at 1171 Main Street.
