Oil Spill Response Continues on Lost River Road in Woodstock

This is a follow-up to NEK's earlier report (Pedestrian Struck by Vehicle in Barnet, June 12). New details below.

NEK previously reported that an oil spill occurred on Lost River Road near Russell Farm Road. New details have since emerged: At approximately 4:50 PM, Woodstock Fire Department was dispatched to the scene. At 5:16 PM, additional manpower and equipment, including engines from Easton and Lincoln, were requested. At 5:22 PM, a second tone was transmitted, and an additional engine from Easton Fire Department was requested to assist with the spill response. Crews continue to work to contain and clean up the spill. Further updates will be provided as they become available.
