North Country Supervisory Union schools will provide free breakfast and lunch to all children ages 1-18 during the COVID-19 school closure, police announced March 18.

Meals will be available for pickup at school buildings Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m., beginning Thursday, March 19. Bus route delivery will start Monday, March 23.

According to school police, families may pick up meals at any NCSU school, regardless of which town they live in. Children do not need to be present at pickup or delivery.

Schools participating include Brighton Elementary, Charleston Elementary, Coventry Village School, Derby Elementary, Jay/Westfield Elementary, Lowell Graded School, Newport City Elementary, Newport Town School, and Troy Elementary. Contact numbers for each school were provided by the district.
