Prior to the North Country Union High School board meeting Tuesday, school directors, administrators, and state legislators toured the school building, which is nearly 60 years old and has failing infrastructure, according to a press release.

During the tour, school director and state Representative Richard Nelson spoke with principal Chris Young about safety issues at the school.

The board meeting later included recognition of Superintendent Elaine Collins.
