Hardwick's antique fire engine led a parade up Granite Street on July 17 to celebrate the life of Christopher Bartlett, according to the Hardwick Gazette. The parade was joined by emergency responders from 11 towns: Craftsbury, Morrisville, Hyde Park, East Montpelier, Woodbury, Danville, Cabot, Elmore, Greensboro, Walden, and Wolcott.

Christopher Bartlett is the son of Hardwick Assistant Fire Chief Charlie Bartlett. The procession honored his life and brought together fire and emergency personnel from across the region.
