Clinical herbalist Caty Crabb will lead a medicinal plant walk on the Hardwick Trails on Saturday, June 13, from 10 a.m. to noon. Participants will learn to identify wild medicinal species in their native habitat, understand how each plant works in the body, and discuss ecological stewardship. The walk is free and open to the public.
Crabbs brings 20 years of clinical practice and more than thirty years of experience making herbal medicines. She will cover simple symptom relief and sustainable harvesting practices.
The group will meet at the Hardwick Trails Kiosk, located behind the Hazen Union parking lot. The event is sponsored by the Hardwick Trails Committee. For more information, contact Norma Wiesen at 472-6517.
