Maxine A. Messier, 81, of Barton, Vermont, died June 15, 2026, at her home, according to family obituaries. She and her husband, George, operated the family farm in nearby Brownington for many years.
Born Maxine A. L'Esperance, she lived most of her life in the Northeast Kingdom, where she was known for her work on the farm. No services have been announced.
