For years the tower clock at Barton United Church has been stuck, correct only twice a day. That changed Friday morning when Sean Kane, owner of About Time Restorations in Connecticut, climbed up to repair the mechanism.
Kane freed the hands, returning the giant timepiece to working order. The clock now serves both as a landmark and a functional community timekeeper.
Joseph Gresser of the Barton Chronicle photographed the restoration work.
