LYNDONVILLE, VT, A Lyndonville police officer made an arrest on July 11 after spotting a vehicle associated with a wanted person while parked on Lynburke Road.
The officer stopped the car and identified the driver as Michelle Verge, 43, of Newark. Verge had an active warrant for failure to appear in a criminal case related to a DUI charge. Police said she was also driving with a criminally suspended license and was violating conditions of release that prohibited alcohol possession or consumption.
Verge was arrested and held at the Northeast Regional Correctional Facility in lieu of $100 bail. She was flash cited into Caledonia Superior Court on July 13 to face the new violations.
