State Police in Granville arrested a local man June 8 on a charge of second-degree sexual abuse, a class A misdemeanor, for an alleged incident dating back more than a decade.
Ricky M. Baker, 46, surrendered himself to troopers after an investigation that began June 1. Police said the alleged assault involved sexual contact with a child under 14 in 2013.
Baker was processed at the Granville barracks and released with an appearance ticket. He is scheduled to appear in Granville Town Court on July 7.
