Five people were injured early Friday in a house fire in Haverhill, New Hampshire. First responders arrived to find the home fully engulfed and five victims in the front yard. The blaze was captured on a neighbor's security camera.
"The first reports were people were trapped in the building. And so I just lived down the street, got here in my pickup, met with a couple people outside. We determined that everybody was evacuated," Haverhill Fire Chief Phil Blanchard said.
Two dogs and three cats were inside the home. Only one dog survived after taking shelter in a nearby FedEx truck. It was reunited with its family hours later.
Fire police are working to determine where the fire started.
