A fiber splicing demonstration was part of the opening celebration for the Groton Connectivity HUB on July 8. An NEK Broadband technician walked visitors through the equipment used to join fiber-optic cables, showcasing the technology that will expand digital access in the area.
The Vermont Community Broadband Board formally congratulated NEK Broadband on the hub's opening. The facility is designed to provide residents with high-speed internet access and digital skills training.
