A Grafton County woman was arrested earlier this week after police said she threatened another driver and then assaulted officers during a road rage incident in Lebanon.
The Lebanon Police Department said Tanealle Carter, 19, of Enfield was following another person through town while threatening him and trying to force his vehicle off the roadway. The victim drove to the police station and called dispatch, with Carter continuing to follow into the parking lot, according to police.
Officers said Carter then tried to drive away and threw something at the victim's vehicle. While being detained, she allegedly kicked the victim's car and was aggressive with officers, police said.
Carter faces charges including simple assault on a law enforcement officer, criminal threatening, and reckless conduct with a deadly weapon. She was held on preventative detention and transported to the Grafton County House of Corrections pending a court appearance.
NEK will be looking into obtaining police reports and any available body camera footage from the incident.
