BROWNINGTON, A 31-year-old East Calais man was arrested on Sunday for his second DUI offense after police received a report of a driver slumped over the steering wheel.
Tyler Gomes was identified as the driver. Police responded around 12:45 p.m. and conducted an investigation, during which Gomes showed signs of alcohol impairment, according to police.
Gomes was issued a criminal citation to appear in court on January 18 to answer to the charge of driving under the influence of alcohol, second offense.
NEK will be looking into the court outcome of this case.
