DERBY, Dolores and Wayne McKinnon, residents of West Street for 31 years, told the select board Monday that the road's deterioration threatens their property. The road partially collapsed in April 2019, leaving a large hole. “When we first came, it was just a dirt road,” Ms. McKinnon said. “We never even thought about problems on our property.” Mr. McKinnon added, “For the past year, we’ve seen our home and property threatened by the destructive ability in West Street.” The select board has yet to settle on a permanent fix.
