Vermont State Police are investigating the theft of a vehicle from a residence on Nelson Hill Road in Derby. The owner, Michael Abel, reported the theft at about 8:17 a.m. on June 18, according to police.

Abel told troopers his silver 2014 Toyota Prius was taken sometime after 7 p.m. on June 17. The vehicle was located later on June 18 at approximately 8:54 a.m., police said.
