The Craftsbury Academy softball team saw its season end with a 15-2 loss to Windsor in the first round of the Division IV state tournament last Wednesday. Sixth-seeded Windsor hosted the game and advanced to the quarterfinals, where they lost to No. 3 Leland & Gray 11-1 over the weekend.

The Lady Chargers, a combined team of Hazen Union and Craftsbury Academy athletes, wrapped up a rebuilding season under first-year head coach Rileigh Fortin. Seniors on the roster included Hazen Union students Sophia Camarra, Ginger Bowley, and Alex Bingham, along with Craftsbury student Adelina Augsberger.
