At 3:54 AM, emergency responders were dispatched to 129 Red Barn Road in Danville for a commercial fire alarm activation. The Danville Fire Department responded with two units, and the Peacham Fire Department also responded with four units, according to initial reports. At 4:10 AM, crews arrived on scene and reported that the alarm was sounding from the interior of the building, but nothing was visible from the exterior. Firefighters were investigating the interior. At 4:15 AM, Peacham Fire Department units staged at the Gamble fire station. By 4:22 AM, all Peacham and Danville units were cleared from the scene after determining the alarm was a functioning alarm, according to first responders.
